One Week Later

We are absolutely thrilled to announce that St Augustine’s first ever Giving Day was a resounding success. Thanks to the enormous generosity and support from parents and the wider community, we beat our target of raising £5,000 to help fund class iPads and raised an amazing £5,600 (over £6,000 with Gift Aid) for the Helping Hands Fund!

The enthusiastic response to the Giving Day exceeded all expectations, with a 70% participation rate from across the school community. Additionally, following the campaign push, some parents have committed to making monthly pledges, which are transformative for our school.

We are so thankful to have such a committed community who continue to show so much support for St Augustine’s and are incredibly grateful for everyone who got involved in our first Giving Day, whether donating directly to the Fund or spreading awareness about the event.

Everyone at St Augustine’s thoroughly enjoyed the activities and challenges over the course of Giving Day. From the Reception nad Years 1 & 2 Art Gallery to the Year 6 Big 60 Walk, all of our pupils and staff at the school got involved to take on challenges and help us reach our goal. Mr Kincaid, Headteacher, completed his own 60K cycle and got involved in the class challenges across the school to show his support of the event.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank the staff at St Augustine’s who made this such a special event for our pupils and to thank our community who have shown so much support and made it possible.

If you didn’t have a chance during the event, it’s not too late to make a gift and increase the total still further by making a donation. To find out more about making a pledge to the Fund, please contact us here.

From all of us at St Augustine’s: thank you so very much.

We Did It!

Thank you so much for your support of St Augustine's first ever Giving Day. We have been truly humbled by the community engagement online and the generosity of your donations. We are delighted to announce that we have exceeded our target of £5,000 for the Helping Hands Fund.

We are still processing all our donations, and we will be able to share with you the final total on Monday. We hope you have enjoyed the challenges as much as we have here at school. It has been a wonderful day, from the Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 Art Exhibition to the Year 5 Penalty Shoot Out.

If you didn’t have a chance during the event, it’s not too late to make a gift and increase the total still further by making a donation via the link in our bio.

From all of us at St Augustine’s, thank you so very, very much.
