Giving Day Activites
On Thursday 27, we will kick off our first ever 36-hour Giving Day event with an Own Clothes Day, with each pupil taking part donating £1 per day to the cause. There will also be a range of school activities over the two days for all pupils to take part in.
See below for our whole school challenges:
Reception & Years 1 & 2 – art gallery
On Friday 28 February, we invite all parents to come to school and view the wonderful pieces of artwork that each child has created.
Year 3- Skip-a-thon
All children will be aiming to skip for an hour – we are sure that they will give it their best go!
Year 4 – Keepy-Uppy Challenge
Can the children do 60 kick ups each? Easy for some perhaps? As a challenge how many can they do in one hour?
Year 5 – Can they beat the goalkeeper?
How many goals can we get as a class in an hour? Or can we even get 60 past him?
Year 6 – The big 60 walk
Mr Bennet has organised and devised a route where the children will be walking around our local area to make the number 60 on their route.
Biscuit making
Year 4 will be making biscuits on Friday to sell at the end of the day.
Miss Clarke’s 60K run
In preparation for her marathon, Miss Clarke has agreed to run 60 km that week, as long as she can count on your sponsorship for the school.
Headteacher’s 60K cycle
Will you sponsor Mr Kincaid cycle to and from school and do some extra laps each day to make the 60 km distance?
Donations can be made here.
