We are delighted to announce that to celebrate 60 years since its formation, St Augustine’s Catholic Primary School will host its first Giving Day comprising activities on Thursday 27 and Friday 28 February 2025. 

Since 1964 when the school opened its doors, our school community has helped to support our school environment and buildings ensuring that St Augustine’s continues to be the wonderful Catholic school we all know and love. Last year your donations to our Helping Hands Fund helped fund an essential renovation of our school, in previous years we installed a new floor in the hall, redeveloped our prayer gardens and created a new quiet area.

We hope that we can count on your support once again and that you will join us in supporting our Giving Day. We are aiming to raise £5,000 to provide our school with class iPads as well as the protective cases and charging equipment needed to go with them.

Whilst we will be encouraging donations – which can be made via the school website here - Giving Day is not just about fundraising. As a parent, your participation is key and there are many ways in which you can be involved, including:

• Spreading the word amongst friends, family, and fellow parents
• Following our progress on Instagram, liking, and sharing our posts, or posting using the hashtags #StAugustines60 #HelpingHands
• Supporting your child taking part in our in-school challenges
